I started playing Pokémon in 2006 but unlike most people I started with the TCG and anime first. Maybe ill type more detail later but eh. My first game was my Pokémon Emerald. I had not the slightest clue how to play it and no one to ask how. I did have but one Pokémon Magazine that I had. It had a few screenshots of Emerald. One screenshot showed the briefcase with the starters in it at the beginning. The hand for selecting was over the first Pokéball, so I figured that's what I was supposed to pick. So without looking at the other starters I blindly took Treecko, one of my favorites now. The game was going okay, and my Treecko evolved (no clue what that meant.) after a couple towns. | |||
