 The Jet Stream Poké-POWER was later clarified to define the Energy discard from the Defending Pokémon as dependent on a successful Energy discard from Blastoise.
-The art on the card is given lifelike textures and depicts blastoise as he appeared on the cover of Pokemon Blue Version through certain details. These include blastoise's cannons appearing to have closeable lids on his shell above his cannons and teeth jutting from his bottom jaw rather than the top. Blastoise's arms and skin look more organic as opposed to the more mechanical look that blastoise was given after the release of the anime.
