Cynthia's Grandmother has appeared in the Pokémon Adventures manga. She loves [[Drink|Moo-Moo Milk]] and often visits [[Café Cabin]] to savor some. She led {{adv|Diamond}}, {{adv|Pearl}} and {{adv|Platinum}} to [[Celestic Town]] in ''[[PS368|Problematic Probopass and Mad Magnezone I]]'', telling them the [[Sinnoh myths|legend]] of Sinnoh's three lakes and the [[Lake guardians]] on the way. In {{chap|Platinum}} it turns out that she was the one that created the meteor-filled craters in [[Veilstone City]].

Cynthia's Grandmother has appeared in the [[Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Adventure!]] manga in a role similar to her in the games. She is first shown trying to expel a member of Team Galactic from Celestic Town.
