I remember in Gold/Silver, there was a trainer here who used only Pokemon that had "King" in their names. It's the same trainer who's using Nidoking and Slowking in HGSS. Now, in the Japanese Version, he apparently uses Magikarp (Koiking), but I remember him using Seaking in GSC. Can anyone confirm this? This would mean his team was changed between languages.--[[User:Purimpopoie|Purimpopoie]] 05:01, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

:I just beat him in the Japanese version of Crystal, and he did have a Magikarp in it, so yeah, they changed it for the English version. Also, the trivia is a bit off: he doesn't just have Pokémon with king in their names, but Pokémon with king in the END of their names. He never used stuff like Kingdra or Kingler, which have King in their names in both languages, but at the beginning.
