:The official DP site lists him as {{t|Fire}}-type trainer. Also: he has TWO {{t|Fire}}-type Pokémon. A {{t|Normal}}-type, a {{t|Steel}}-type and a {{t|Ghost}}-type are in his team because there are few Fire Pokémon in the [[List of Pokémon by Sinnoh Dex number|Sinnoh Dex]]. - [[User:Taylor|Taylor]] 00:34, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

::That's no excuse. Look at the Fire types in the anime version Sinnoh (including Charmeleon and Quilava, for gods sake). I'm sorry, but 2 Fire-types out of 5 Pokemon does not a Fire-trainer make. And in the Ultimate Fire-Trainer Showdown of Destiny Steelix would get laughed of the field. Flint could at least get himself a Magmortar... - [[Cassius335|Cassius335]]
