This card was first released as part of the {{TCG|Dragons Exalted}} expansion, originating from the Japanese {{TCG|Dragon Blade}}. It was later reprinted as one of the {{TCG|BW-P Promotional cards}} with new artwork by [[5ban Graphics]] and given away with the purchase of either a {{TCG|Garchomp Half Deck}} or {{TCG|Hydreigon Half Deck}} to those present at the Garchomp•Hydreigon Cup, part of the Spring Tournament held nationwide in Japan during April 2012. It was also given away in the same manner to those present at the Battle Carnival Spring 2012 events held at four locations in May and June 2012. It was reprinted in the {{TCG|Cold Flare}} expansion with different artwork by [[5ban Graphics]] as an Ultra-Rare {{TCG|Secret card}}.
