I think Cilan is just stating how both of them eat when they're angry, as a glutton is someone who eats, even when they aren't hungry. I suspect he's just using fancy words to pepper up his evaluation. Another point I'd like to point out is that nothing was said about Pansear gaining energy from eating the apples. :He's flat out talking about Chili's Pansear, because he goes on to talk about its moves. He's stating that Pansear's ability matches Chili's personality. There's no arguing with that. As for the energy thing, eh, it's what the game says.
