In Generation I, Copycat will give the TM for Mimic in return for a Clefairy-style Escape item|Poké Doll}}.

In her bedroom, there is a SNES with a game that has Mario with a bucket on his head, a reference to the Japan-exclusive game Mario & Wario (which was, also developed by Game Freak).

Copycat has a Doduo she has somehow taught to mimic human speech, similarly to the abilities of a Chatot.

When the player returns to Copycat's house and returns her List of key items in Generation II#|Lost Item|lost doll}}, she will give the player a List of key items in Generation II to ride the Magnet Train that travels between Kanto and Johto.

In betweenBetween the events of Generation I and Generation II, Copycat's house in Saffron City was torn down to make room for the Magnet Train station;. aAccording "rail company man" <!--to her words, nota minerail -->company man gave her a train ticket becausein ofcompensation for the demolition.

*In the artwork, Copycat has green hair on theher Generation II artwork, but has brown hair in the latest artwork.
*In Generation IV, Copycat has a Pokémon from every generation represented, if you count her Poké Dolls: a ClefairyHeartGold doll (Generation I), aCopycat Blissey (Generation II),has a real BanettePokémon (ironically,from aall Pokémonthe thatfirst wasfour originally a discarded plush doll) and a Nosepass doll (Generation IIIgeneration)s, andif acounting her CherrimEscape item doll (Generation IV). Also, Copycat had a Doduo in Generation I and III, which evolved into a Dodrio in Generation II, but was replaced by the Banette in Generation IV.s:
*If*A theClefairy Copycat is in fact parroting the player character as she implies and not simply putting words in their mouthsdoll, then she provides by proxy some of the only lines of dialogue from the normally silentrepresenting playerGeneration characters.I;
