:I'm curious about this as well. I've never seen the Japanese version, but I re-watched the dub keeping that fact in mind and it didn't seem to make much sense. In all the parts before Mew started fighting it looked nothing like she was planning to kill all clones. Or, if that was her intent, she wasn't really to the point about it (wasting all sorts of time on pointless stuff like playing on the windmill thing, following Team Rocket around, floating around Ash, fleeing from Mewtwo before finally deciding to fight, etc.).
