At the beginning of the game Krokorok and Sandile are taking Pokémon to the Wish Park for {{p|Gothita}} who promised them berries. When {{p|Pikachu}} and {{p|Piplup}} venture here, they take part in {{p|Cofagrigus}}'s Attraction, {{DL|Attractions|Cake Contraption}}. {{p|Pansear}} then points out the odd behavior of the other Pokémon when they eat the cake from the Attraction and Pikachu and Piplup are saved by {{p|Oshawott}}. They then barely escape Cofagrigus's master's grasp, but Piplup manages to save Pikachu and Oshawott, sacrificing himself to the ominous Pokémon's arms. | |||
Oshawott and Pikachu later return after learning how to open the portal from Krokorok and Sandile, and confront Cofagrigus. After defeating Cofagrigus, they ring that Zone's Wish Bell, freeing all the Cove Area's Pokémon from Cofagrigus's spell. | |||
