Hi. You seem to be really nice and helpful with the games. I don't mind that help at all. About 2 months ago I was attempting a glitch with Pokemon Gold and Silver or Silver and Crystal as Gold doesn't work and it was the egg blackout glitch. It wouldn't let me trade the egg during a link trade as I only had one Pokemon. Then I thought the glitch was triggered by beating Falkner, then receiving an Egg with only Cyndaquil or Totodile, very hard to beat Violet gym with Chikorita and still no infinite blackout glitch. Do you know any other methods to get it to work? Since I'm not actually playing my gen 2 games. I'm experimenting with them now. (MichaelXD 20:06, 3 February 2012 (UTC))

:This is where it came from. Have you tried obtaining an egg, then entering a trade with just your starter and an egg, then trading the starter for an egg? It should work, since you have two Pokémon. Or is that what you were saying you already did? --<span style="color:#A70000">Snorlax</span><span style="color:#0000A7">Monster</span> 02:29, 4 February 2012 (UTC)

So I need to beat the gym leader in more than one version first, get the egg and only have my starter and egg in one version while in another version, I can have more than one Pokemon in the party? I asked this on Yahoo Answers and only got an answer that was chatting about something dumb instead of acknowledging the question. Also is the Brock Skip Gym side effects real or the side effects of using a cheating device? I got dumb answers for that too. (MichaelXD 11:35, 4 February 2012 (UTC))
