In the Trivia section, it is stated that Emerald was built on FireRed and LeafGreen. This is incorrect. I have looked extensively at the inner workings of R&S, FR&LG, and Emerald, and can confirm that Emerald's code is almost identical to that of R&S, with very few changes. The mechanics of FR&LG are completely different from the others by comparison. The "evidence" listed is simply a few small changes that were added to the R&S engine, and doesn't state anything about the game's code. Shall I update this section to correct this? :No, Pokemon Emerald was definitely not built off of FireRed and LeafGreen. FireRed and LeafGreen were built off of Ruby and Sapphire. However, Emerald is built off RUby and Sapphire, being a third version. Similar to Crystal, Blue (JP), Platinum , etc. [[User:JacobTheDoduo]] 10:34, 2 February 2012 (UTC) |
