:There's no proof that it will, and no proof that it won't. It's simply that: July is still many months away, and in that time span ''something'' could happen, so we shouldn't assume either way. Look at any of the movies and notice all the differences in terms of evolutions and captures. There was a cast list revealed, but it didn't state the characters' names, and unlike Pikachu, Axew has never hinted towards not wanting to evolve. It's actually done the opposite.
