Pokémon Fan Club Chairman: Difference between revisions

There are four chairmen appearing in their respective regions. They all are chatty old men loving their Pokémon and bragging about them.

The Kanto Pokémon Fan Club Chairman first appears in the fan clubhouse in [[Vermilion City]] in {{game|Red and Blue|s}} as well as their [[Generation III]] [[Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen Versions|remakes]]. He talks about his two favorite Pokémon, {{p|Rapidash}} and {{p|Fearow}} at length and then gives the player a coupon to get a bicycle. In {{game|Yellow}} he got a new hobby—taking Pokémon photos. The big photos of his {{p|Rapidash}} and {{p|Fearow}} can be seen on the walls of the clubhouse. He appears again in {{game|Gold and Silver|s}} and their [[Generation IV]] [[Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver Versions|remakes]] in the same place. Again, he talks about his Rapidash although this time he gives the {{player}} a {{DL|Vitamin|Rare Candy}} for listening to his story. He also claims to have raised over 150 Pokémon in his life.

The Hoenn Pokémon Fan Club Chairman is at the club house in [[Slateport City]] in {{game|Ruby and Sapphire|s}}. He claims to have raised over 100 different Pokémon in his lifetime and he travels across the nation on his {{p|Fearow}}. He also gives out [[Scarf|Scarves]] when the player shows him a Pokémon with a condition high enough in the scarf's respective concentration, which boosts the Pokémon's condition in [[Pokémon Contest|contests]] and [[Pokémon Super Contest|Super Contests]].

The Sinnoh Pokémon Fan Club Chairman appears in [[Hearthome City]] in {{game|Diamond and Pearl|s}}. He says that his Fan Club is number one nationwide because he brags more than anyone. However, he doesn't do it anymore because of people's complaints. This may also explain why only one member is found in his club.

The Unova Pokémon Fan Club Chairman appears in [[Icirrus City]] in {{game|Black and White|s}}. He asks the player to show him one of his or her Pokémon, and gives out gifts that vary based on how many levels the Pokémon has gained since it was obtained: for 25 to 49 levels he gives an {{DL|Experience-affecting item|Exp. Share}}, for 50 to 98 levels he gives a {{DL|Repel|Cleanse Tag}}, and for 99 levels he gives a {{DL|Evolution-inducing held item|King's Rock}}. He only gives out each item once.
