:@Truthseeker: indeed, it works just fine right here, but because it's technically got some broken tags in it (those span tags without style input), MediaWiki views it as having broken HTML and won't allow you to use it as a signature (even though it'll still display just fine everywhere else). When in doubt, the best way to test signature code is to actually set it as your signature.
