This isn't a question about the topic of fainting, it's a question about the article "[[Fainting]]," specifically the accuracy of the translation of the Japanese, thus I don't think it is "suited for the forums." Anyway, upon further examination it looks like the term means something like "on the verge of death" or "near death."
