The '''McDonalds Collection''' (Japanese: '''コレクションシート''' ''Journey Partners Collection Sheets'') are a collection of cards released in North American McDonald's Happy Meals for a limited time in 2011, from June 17 to July 7. In Japan, the collection was the first BW era release of Pokémon trading cards. Released on September 18th, 2010, each collection sheet costs 280 yen. Originally, the Journey Partners Collection Sheets were themed around the three starters of the [[Generation V|fifth generation]]: {{TCG|Snivy}}, {{TCG|Tepig}}, and {{TCG|Oshawott}}; and each contained three cards. The nine total cards featured one from each type, and all the cards were holographic with artwork done by [[Ken Sugimori]]. However, when they were released in English, the collection added in three additional cards: {{p|Maractus}}, {{p|Alomomola}}, and {{p|Audino}}, for a total of twelve cards. There were also 8 toys that came with 1 card each, based on Pikachu, Oshawott, Tepig, Snivy, Zorua, Zoroark, Zekrom, and Reshiram.
