-There seems to be an uncommon glitch in the Heart Gold/Soul Silver copies of the game.  Upon opening the Pal Pad, or in many cases any of it's sub-menus the game will display the background and continue playing music normally.  However, the game will stop responding and lock up entirely.  There is no known cause or fix and it occurs in both ROM and original copies.  It's occurrence is so rare that no one has done any research into it.  The only solution is to delete your game and hope it never happens again.
