Just 'momonga' is Japanese for flying squirrel though, so I'd say that's the name source rather than specifically the N momonga. [[User:Ok|Ok]] 07:14, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

Shouldn't the origin section be changed to Japanese dwarf flying squirrel, momonga or P. momonga, rather than just flying squirrel or Petauridae? As the term "flying squirrel" is too general and the family Petauridae is not related to P. momonga. Even Emolga's Japanese name shows proof that it is based on a momonga,(Emonga)(エ'''モンガ''')(Pteromys momonga)(ニホンモ'''モンガ''')--[[User:Ankoku|Ankoku]] 17:17, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
