:Highly unlikely. It doesn't scream "chupacabra" when most people look at it. Most people think of a hedgehog or echidna, and it doesn't even look the slightest bit like descriptions. They're said to look almost {{tt|lizard-like|unless, of course, it's the Scooby-Doo version which resembles Bigfoot more than anything}}, so Crocanaw would be a better fit than Sandslash because of that. Personally, I would never have even thought of a chupacabra when looking at Sandslash.
