:I started rewatching Pokemon yesterday from episode 1, and I noticed that too. like in the Squirtle Squad episode Ash gets four or five guns pointed at him in the store. The simple answer is because the people in charge of airing the episodes are incredibly stupid and don't realize how hypocritical they're being.
