I don't think that Drapion is based simply on "a stylized scorpion". I think he is more similar to the {{wp|Thelyphonida}} (a.k.a. vinegarroons), look at this animal shape, it looks like a scorpion but it's actually a spider, and this explain Skorupi being a Bug-type (I know spider aren't bug, but in the Pokémon World they are considerated bug, Spinarak and Ariados are bug and I guess Denchura will be also Bug-Type), also this animal has to pinch in the front, just like Drapion (or better to say, that Drapion has two pinch, like this animal).

So my opinion is that Skorupi & Drapion aren't simply "a stylized scorpion", but they are based on the vinegarroons so I think this should be added on the article! --[[User:Samy|Samy]] 08:43, 21 August 2010 (UTC)

:Have a look at this silverfish: http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n41/AntoFE/Personal/MEOW/Bug/01.jpg I don't know when this SEM image was taken, so it could be a chronologically impossible origin, though. [[User:PLA|PLA]] 12:14, 14 December 2010 (UTC)
