: I think that the name orgin being a combination of George Ohsawa a samurai and otter make the most sence. Look at it's evolutions they highly resemble samurai. {{unsigned|Pokemaster97}}
this what my prediction that i have put in bulba forums the other day:
oshare(properly dressed up) + wotter(old word for water) or oshaburi(pacifier) + wotter(old word for water) hope it will help. oshare and oshaburi are both Japanese words maybe symbolizing he is based on Japanese samurai.[[User:Badwolf1234|Badwolf1234]] 10:38, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
