Maybe its name is based on OSHA. It's the Occupational Safety and Health Administration Water Otter. He walks around with a clipboard, and hands out OSHA violation notices. (This is a joke.) :Jokes belong on the forums, not on article talk pages. In all seriousness, I think it comes from Ocean and otter. No idea where the W comes from. Water maybe? --AndyPKMN (talk) 13:29, 23 November 2010 (UTC) | :Jokes belong on the forums, not on article talk pages. Has anyone considered that its English name may come from Ocean + Shell + Water + Otter? I think that shell is where the "sh" comes from and then it is combined with the similar sound in "ocean". The think the "wott" just comes from water and otter. NightSky 18:36, 23 November 2010 (UTC) |
