On the type effectiveness part, it says that the effectiveness of grass is 1/4, then in the "notes" part, it repeats this fact. Why? If it was the same as Gen I, why mention it? Also, on the Bulbasaur article, it says that grass's effectiveness was 1/2 in Gen I, which is untrue. Can someone explain this?  Thanks, <font color="Blue">Sam</font><font color="Purple">john</font><font color="Teal">95</font> 14:22, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

Character limit trivia
How do we know for sure that it's spelled the way it is due to the character limit? Unlike Feraligatr, which is missing an important vowel, the single "L" in Victreebel doesn't affect the pronunciation or readability. We don't assume that Articuno was meant to have a "C" before the "T", so why assume that Victreebel was meant to be spelled differently? --AndyPKMN 14:13, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
