|desc=Miki has a very strong {{p|Skarmory}} which she uses to battle [[Fire (type)|Fire]] Pokémon, because fire is Skarmory's main weakness and she wants to make it stronger. When {{Ash}} heard from a trainer who's {{p|Growlithe}} was defeated by her that a trainer over the bridge is very strong and Ash decides to battle her. They find her, to {{an|Brock}}'s exitement she is very pretty, Miki mistakes him as a trainer who wants to battle and they start to battle. She sends out Skarmory, and she tells Brock to send out a fire Pokémon, [[Brock's Vulpix|Vulpix]]. Skarmory kicks up dust and flies into the air, Vulpix goes for a {{m|Flamethrower}} which misses from Skarmory's {{m|Agility}}. Skarmory finishes off the battle with a {{m|Steel Wing}}. She tells him to sends out another fire type, but Ash interupts in and sends out his {{AP|Cyndaquil}}. | |||
Skarmory uses {{m|Fury Attack}} which Cyndaquil dodges, but is unable to ignite its flame and is hit by multiple {{m|Swift}} [[Move|attacks]]. Skarmory is about to finish Cyndaquil off, when the two Pokémon are captured by [[Team Rocket]]. It breaks free easily with Swift, and is later able to send Team Rocket blasting off and freeing Cyndaquil. The next day Miki has another battle aginst Ash and Cyndaquil. After a heated battle Skarmory and Cyndaquil are badly hurt, but with Cyndaquil being able to use its flames perfectly it is able to faint Skarmory with a powerful Flamethrower. | |||
