Pokémon League entrance exam instructor: Difference between revisions

[[Ash Ketchum]] sent it out to {{pkmn|battle}} the instructor's {{p|Jolteon}}. Jolteon started with an {{m|Agility}}, while Ash tried to remember what attacks Arbok could learn. Then, Ash told Arbok to use {{m|Glare}}, which paralyzed Jolteon on the spot. Ash then commanded a {{m|Wrap}} attack, which failed, due to Jolteon's spikes. Jolteon then defeated Arbok by using {{m|Thunder}}. Ash was forced to switch Pokémon after this. Later on, however, when [[Team Rocket]] was attacking, Ash had Arbok, plus {{p|Weezing}} and Meowth, attack Team Rocket.

The instructor then told Flareon to use {{m|Leer}}, at which Ash told Weezing to use {{m|SmokeScreen}} to counter it. Flareon's Leer couldn't penetrate the smoke. Weezing then finished Flareon off with a {{m|Tackle}} attack. Ash was forced to switch Pokémon after this, so he couldn't continue to use Weezing. Later on, however, when [[Team Rocket]] was attacking, Ash had Weezing, plus Arbok and Meowth, attack Team Rocket. Then he had Weezing use {{m|Explosion}}, which caused Team Rocket to blast off.

Ash did so; however, as Meowth went in to attack, Vaporeon froze it solid with an {{m|Ice Beam}}, at which point, Team Rocket's Meowth raced onto the field, scratched Ash's face for treating a Meowth like that, then shattered the ice encasing the Meowth, prompting Team Rocket to blow their cover. When [[Team Rocket]] was attacking, Ash had Meowth, plus {{p|Weezing}} and {{p|Arbok}}, attack Team Rocket. When Team Rocket blasted off, they blasted off with the wrong Meowth and left their Meowth behind. In the next episode, however, they seem to have switched back, as they have {{MTR}} on them again, and the non-talking Meowth hasn't been seen since.
