|desc=Ralph's {{p|Nidorino}} nicknamed Tony (ジョン ''John'') is in love with {{oi|Emily}}'s {{p|Nidorina}}, it has a blue and purple bow around its neck. It first appeared as a {{p|Nidoran♂}} when Ralph had lost him and with the help of {{Ash}} and [[Ash's friends|his friends]] tried to find it. [[Tracey]] find him and also a {{p|Nidoran♀}} (Maria) which both Ralph and Emily find them kissing and playing with each otherer, the trainers quickly grab the Pokémon and leave. It is revealed that both Ralph and Emily have known each other since they were small catching the same Pokémon and competing in the same contests which as made both Tony and Maria very close but their owners despise each other. It appeared again calling out to Maria that was looking out of the balcony window until it got soaked by Emily.

{{TR|Meowth}} tells Tony to come with him but he would not abandon his trainer ending it in a failure. The next day Tony and Maria are captured by [[Team Rocket]]. Ralph and Emily appear to try and get them back but is stopped by [[Jessie's Arbok]]. They both command an attack which works and [[James]] calls out [[James's Victreebel|Victreebel]] but is defeated by double attacks. And in the end are sent blasting off. Suddenly Tony [[Evolution|evolves]] into a Nidorino along with Maria, in the end Ralph and Emily become friends.
