-The southern terminus of the route is first accessible upon traveling north from [[Rustboro City]]. However, the high ledges (and trainers) above are only reachable from the north via [[Meteor Falls]]. Once {{m|Surf}} is obtained, all areas of the route are accessible, including an inconspicuous grove maze in the northern area of the route, isolated by water.
+Upon first visiting the route early in the game when first visiting [[Rustboro City]], most of the route cannot be accessed, with the only object of potential interest being a [[Super Potion]]. However, as the player progresses through the game and gains access to [[Meteor Falls]], one can battle several trainers and many [[secret base]] locations become accessible. The northern section of the route can only be traveled to with {{m|Surf}}, where both a small bay, a maze-like forest and a mountainous area reside. This route is also the only area in which {{p|Jigglypuff}} and {{p|Swellow}} reside in Hoenn.
