::Luxury Balls increase the rate at which your pokemon becomes friendly from actions as outlined in the [[Happiness]] article. Friend Balls automatically set the pokemon's happiness to 200 (instead of the usual 70) when caught. Both poke balls have a catch rate of 1x.
