Users at Bcrat level and above are able to suppress redirects when they move pages. This automatically deletes the old pages. I recreated the mainspace page because it is a useful redirect. The talk page, however, is not. We have traditionally had a policy of deleting talk pages after moving their attached article; this has not changed.
