::Just because they have the same type doesn't mean they have the same origin. You don't think Flareon's got liquid magma in its body, right? Because Camerupt does. Different Pokémon, different manifestations. Giratina's Ghost-type comes from its shadowy nature as antimatter (and considering Ghost is a counterpart to Normal, the type of {{p|Arceus|its creator}}), while others draw their Ghost-types from other aspects.
