Should the Nido families be interlinked, then, since you can get Nidoran male eggs from a Nidoran female? Tom Temprotran 20:07, 9 November 2006 (UTC) (A question copied from another talk page by User:User142)

:I've thought up some sort of solution to the whole issue with the male/female variations. Possibly a page on Gender which would go in depth about the effects of a Pokémon's gender on it (are there any, really?) and explain the different gender ratios, and maybe speculate male-only species female counterparts. After all, there's speculation elsewhere here, right? I'll make the bare bones of it now, and later we can add to it to make it in-depth. ::technically nidoran♂ and nidoran♀ are the same, with gender differances, the data is different due to g1s lack of genders, and when g2 came with genders, the ♀ and ♂ stuck, leading them to be seperate but simmilar pokemon. they still are the same, but are recognised as different due to the late intraduction of genders--Ben7229 16:46, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
