Release information

This card was included in the Vivid Voltage expansion with artwork by Atsuko Nishida, first released in the Japanese Amazing Volt Tackle expansion. A SWSH Black Star Promotional print of this card was one of the Prerelease promos for Vivid Voltage with new artwork by Narumi Sato, available in the Vivid Voltage Build & Battle Box. A variation of this print with a gold foil "Staff" stamp was also distributed to approved locations in the Prerelease Program. As the 2020 Championship Series was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, locations that were eligible for Rebel Clash Prereleases retained their eligibility for Vivid Voltage Prereleases.

A Cosmos Holofoil version of the Vivid Voltage print bearing the expansion logo in the bottom right corner of the artwork was given away with eligible Pokémon Trading Card Game purchases at participating stores in various countries starting November 13, 2020. It was available at Game Mania stores in Belgium and the Netherlands, Top 1 Toys stores in the Netherlands, GameStop stores in Italy[1], Spiele Max and MyToys stores in Germany[2], and select locations in Spain with a €10 purchase.[3] PicWicToys stores in France also gave away the card with a €20 purchase.[4] Participating WHSmith stores in the United Kingdom began to give away the card from December 4, 2020 with a £10 purchase. In Chile, The Big Box stores began to give away this card with any purchase from December 22, 2020.[5]

It was reprinted as a Full Art Secret card with artwork by Saki Hayashiro in the Chilling Reign expansion, first released in the Japanese Peerless Fighters subset. The SWSH Black Star Promotional was subsequently released as part of the Japanese VMAX Climax subset.
