Isn't it LagomorphShipping? --TTEchidna 02:18, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

That is indeed the official name. --FabuVinny T-C-S 18:25, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Could someone put up a screenshot of Buneary in full crush mode in DP039? --FabuVinny T-C-S 18:32, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

I don't git the name. Cerberus 12:42, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

He and She

Should we change this to "It" or should we just leave it? --ケンジガール 04:01, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

Leave it like He and She.

I agree. Pretty much everyone who supports this agrees that Pikachu's a guy and Buneary's a girl, right? TTEchidna 08:42, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
I think everyone's established that already, even those who hate this couple, like myself. Paul'sDialga (John 23:36, 13 October 2008 (UTC))

Yes that will at least make the page more clear. Cerberus 17:51, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

This is one lopsided ship. Cerberus

And may one day be a Mimilop-sided ship. TTEchidnaGSDS! 03:19, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
(sigh) If you're mostly canon-established, take my advice: avoid this couple at ALL COSTS!!! Paul'sDialga (John 23:36, 13 October 2008 (UTC))

NO Idea what thay ment. Cerberus

It'll get pretty creepy if Dawn's Buneary evolves... TorchicBlaziken (talkedits)

This one really seems like something based omre in fact than in speculation. Not being rude or anything, but a lot of evidence from the ships that are more speculation than fact, the evidence is not nessecarily pointing towards romantic feelings. Pokemon486 22:18, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

LagomorphShipping name origin

"The name originates from Lagomorpha, the order that rabbits and pikas, Buneary and Pikachu's real-world counterparts, belong to. "

Buneary, yes. But the common idea that Pikachu is based on/named after the pika doesn't hold much water, in my opinion at least. The name origin section of Pikachu (Pokémon) currently doesn't list it, and probably correctly. No member of the Pichu evolution line bears any resemblance to a pika, specifically, conceptually or visually (they're mostly mice, but they have some rabbit in them, mostly in the ears) and Pikachu's name origin being (as explained on its page) a combination of the Japanese words for "sparkle" and "squeak" works well enough its own. I know that the name for this ship may be pre-existing, but I just wanted to point this out somewhere. Dinosauramiable (talk) 14:20, 10 April 2018 (UTC)

Apparently Pikachu is actually based on a squirrel and later retconned into being a mouse, but a highly stylized one (Pachirisu and Emolga are more obvious squrirrels) and it could still have influences from other rodents and from rabbits. Dinosauramiable (talk) 20:19, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
