Sharpen (Japanese: かくばる Improve Angles) is a non-damaging Normal-type move introduced in Generation I. Prior to Generation V, it was the signature move of Porygon.

Effect

Generation I to VII

Sharpen increases the user's Attack stat by one stage.

If powered up by a Normalium Z into Z-Sharpen, the user's Attack rises by another stage.

Generation VIII onwards

Sharpen cannot be selected in a battle.

GSC A move that raises the user's Attack.
RSEColo.XD Reduces the polygon count and raises Attack.
FRLG The user reduces its polygon count to sharpen edges and raise Attack.
