Ryan Reynolds

Ryan Rodney Reynolds (born October 23, 1976) is a Canadian actor, filmmaker, and businessman. He is known for his leading role on the American sitcom Two Guys and a Girl (1998–2001) and as the Marvel Comics anti-hero Deadpool in the film franchise of the same name (2009–2018) and the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) (2024 onward). In the Pokémon franchise, Reynolds voiced the titular character in POKÉMON Detective Pikachu.

Biography

Reynolds was born on October 23, 1976, in Vancouver, British Columbia, and is the youngest of four brothers. He stared acting around the age of 12 and moved to Los Angeles around 18.[1]

Reynolds is married to actress Blake Lively.[2] As a businessman, he runs the production company and digital marketing agency, Maximum Effort (named after a catchphrase from the Deadpool movies),[3] holds an ownership stake on Mint Mobile[4] and Aviation Gin[5] and is the co-owner of the Association football club, Wrexham A.F.C..[6]
