Trivia
- Rintaro's names in English, Japanese, and Chinese break the established pattern of Z-A Royale promotion match opponents having names that start with the same letters as their ranks (Zach for Rank Z, Yvon for Rank Y, Xavi for Rank X). Despite this, the German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Korean translations of the game still give him names beginning with W.
- His occupation as a waiter alludes to his Rank W status.
- Him using the elemental monkeys could be a reference to the Gym Leaders of Striaton City, Cilan, Chili. and Cress or Chef Roger of Restaurant Le Nah, as they all use the elemental monkeys.
