In the Generation V games, the Rare Bone can be sold to the Rare Bone maniac on Route 18 for  10,000.

In Pokémon Sword and Shield, the Rare Bone can be sold to the valuable item buyer in Stow-on-Side for  11,111.

Effect

The Rare Bone serves no practical purpose other than to be sold.

In Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, the Rare Bone counts as a Fossil towards Fossil count when dug up in the Underground.
