Raichu (Japanese: ライチュウ Raichu) is a Lightning-type Stage 1 Pokémon card. It was first released as part of the Evolving Skies expansion.

Release information

This card was included in the Evolving Skies expansion, first released in the Japanese Eevee Heroes subset. It was reprinted in the Japanese Start Deck 100; Mirror Holofoil and Non Holofoil versions were available in different decks.

Trivia

The illustration on this card portrays the same scene as Sewaddle, but from a different angle.

Origin

Thunderbolt is a move in the Pokémon games that Raichu can learn. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Shield. A Sewaddle and a Rotom are also seen in the artwork.
