Vinnie, upon completing Main Mission 41 will offer the player the ability to engage in Rogue Mega Evolution simulations, allowing the player to relive the encounters from the game's story, but without any assistance from any NPC. Upon completing Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 1, he is replaced with a Nouveau Café staff NPC.
Once the player has completed every Rogue Mega Evolution, the NPC will offer the player the Rogue Mega Rush challenge, which pits the player against all 26 Rogue Mega-Evolved Pokémon (as well as Rogue Primal Groudon and Kyogre, in between Rogue Mega Darkrai and Rogue Mega Rayquaza) in sequence, finishing with the battle against Zygarde in Main Mission 42: "To Keep the World in Balance". Items may not be used from the satchel, and the player is given the option to fully heal their Pokémon between battles, but only up to three times in total. Completing the challenge earns the player the "Mega Rush Master" title.
