Purified Gem

The Purified Gem (Japanese: ライトクリスタル Light Crystal) is an item in Pokémon GO that is used to subdue an enraged Shadow Raid Boss.

Effect

A Shadow Raid Boss will become enraged after its HP falls 60%, during which its Attack and Defense will be drastically increased. Once eight Purified Gems are collectively used on the Shadow Raid Boss, it will be subdued and return to its original stats. Each player may only use up to five Purified Gems in a Shadow Raid, with a five-second cooldown between each use; therefore at least two players are required to subdue a Shadow Raid Boss. Alternatively, a Shadow Raid Boss naturally becomes subdued once its HP falls to 15%.

Acquisition

When the player obtains four Shadow Shards, they will automatically be combined inside the Shard Refiner to create a Purified Gem.
