Release information

This card was released in the Mega Evolution Series as a Pixel Cosmos Holofoil MEP Black Star Promo available in the Mega Evolution Three-Pack Blisters from September 26, 2025. In Japan, this card was released in the Scarlet & Violet Series as one of seven SV-P Promotional cards available in Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack 10, which was distributed at Pokémon Card Gym venues able to do so from April 18, 2025.[1] The Japanese print features the Pokémon Card Gym logo.

This card is reprinted in the Ascended Heroes special expansion, alongside a Full Art illustration rare print with artwork by REND, both originating from the Japanese MEGA Dream ex subset. The Regular print in each release has two Mirror Holofoil variants featuring either a Water Energy symbol or a Love Ball.

  • Psyduck and Golduck are the first promo cards to receive reprints retaining their promotional artwork in an English booster expansion since the Mewtwo card included in the Legendary Collection expansion, nearly 24 years prior.

Damp is an Ability in the Pokémon games that Psyduck can have. Ram is an attack that first appeared on Zubat from the Team Rocket expansion. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Scarlet.
