Profile
The profile (Japanese: プロフィール Profile) is a feature in the menu of Pokémon Masters EX. It contains information about the player, such as their name, appearance, player rank, and friend code. The Trainer Settings menu is accessed through the profile, and players can also change their name here. The player can also customize various aspects of their profile, such as their favorite sync pairs and medals.
Features
The profile is divided into two pages. On either page, the player can view and change their name, view their player rank, and copy their friend code to share with other players. The player can also view their likes and customize the theme of their profile.
The first page displays a photo that the player made in the photo creator and the player's favorite title. The second page displays the player's appearance, favorite sync pairs, favorite medals, profile hashtags, and free hashtags. If the player is viewing their own profile, they have the option to change any of these.
There are a variety of ways that players can view other players' profiles:
- From the player's own profile, they can view the profiles of other players who have recently left likes on their profile.
- From Friends, players can view the profiles of their friends and pending friends. Players can also search for other friends using certain criteria, such as what hashtags they have, what Trainers appear in their photo, and so on.
- From the photo creator, players can use the Random View option to view another player's profile at random; a small number of filters can also be applied to filter which profiles are selected.
- In any event where player scores are saved to a leaderboard, such as Legendary Gauntlets, high score events, and ranked damage events, once the ranking feature is unlocked, the player can view the profiles of other players whose rank is close to theirs, as well as the profiles of the top 100 players.
- After the player completes a co-op battle, they can view the profiles of the players they battled with.
Theme
The player can choose one of nine different themes for their profile. Each theme includes a patterned background for the profile, a background color for the text, and a text color. Each theme has a unique name in the game files, but these names are not displayed in-game.

Likes
When viewing another player's profile, the player can leave a like on the profile. A player can leave only one like on a certain player's profile each day, but there is no limitation on the number number of profiles a player can like per day. The total number of likes that a player has received on their profile is recorded on their profile. The "Likes" button on the player's profile allows them to view the last ten players that have left a like on their profile, as well as the last ten players whose profiles they have left a like on.
Favorite sync pairs
The player can select up to three sync pairs as their favorite sync pairs. The sort and filter options in this menu are the same as the options in the Edit Team menu.
Favorite medals
The player can set up to three medals as their favorite medals. The interface for this selection is identical to the standard medal menu.

Deprecated features
Prior to version 2.42.0, the profile was only a single page. It displayed the player's name, appearance, player rank, friend code, current amount of coins, and current amount of Gems. Only one favorite sync pair could be selected. In addition, it contained the Adventure Log. This kept track of the furthest chapter the player had reached in the PML Arc, the number of medals of each rarity the player had acquired, the total number of sync pairs on the player's team, the collective strength of the player's sync pairs, and the number of days the player had logged in. In version 2.42.0, the Adventure Log was moved to a separate section of the menu, and the data it tracked was expanded.
Trivia
- Many hashtags come in two variants, which are used to make terms match the player's gender in languages that have grammatical gender. Since English does not have grammatical gender, all gendered options are identical for male and female players. However, this results in the hashtags #RoyalPrince (Japanese: #王子) and #RoyalKing (Japanese: #王様) being available to both male and female players, with no corresponding #RoyalPrincess or #RoyalQueen hashtags.
