List of decorations (Generation II)
This is a list of decorations in the Generation II games Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal. They can be used to decorate the player's bedroom using the PC, and are divided into seven categories: beds, carpets, plants, posters, game consoles, ornaments, and big dolls. These decorations can only be placed in fixed positions or put away entirely; only the ornaments can be placed in more than one position, on either the left or right side of the table in the bedroom.
In Pokémon Stadium 2, players can view and decorate their bedroom in 3D with the My Room feature. If any console but the Virtual Boy is set out when viewing My Room, screenshots from several games for that system (such as The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo 64) will be shown on the television screen.
Most decorations can be obtained through Mystery Gift with another player or with Carrie from Pokémon Stadium 2. Four dolls are obtained by sending money to Mom, who will buy them for the player at certain savings thresholds. The Silver Trophy and Gold Trophy are obtained by opening the Normal Box and Gorgeous Box, respectively, which are held by certain reward Pokémon from Pokémon Stadium; these can be taken after trading it to a Generation II game or by putting into the Metal Case in Pokémon Stadium 2.
List of decorations
There are 45 decorations in total, though only 42 of them can be legitimately obtained. Decorations that were never made available legitimately are displayed in gray below. Seven index numbers correspond to the "Put It Away"GSC/"Take Away"Stad2 option for a given category, which allows the decoration in that location to be removed.
The names of decorations are rendered in all-caps in-game like item names, but are formatted in mixed case in the Nintendo Power and Prima Games guidebooks.
