Release information

This disk was given to the first three million patrons of the Japanese theatrical screening of I Choose You!, released on July 15, 2017. The illustration also features the movie logo. Players of Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon could later obtain a special Pikachu wearing Ash's cap as seen in I Choose You! in-game by using the QR Scanner on the disk QR Code.

Trivia

When Pikachu is used in battle, players will be presented with a Ho-Oh Roulette (Japanese: ホウオウ ルーレット) instead of the normal Attack Roulette. This roulette has Ho-Oh symbols where the two largest attack bonus values would normally be, and if successfully selected, will summon Ho-Oh to attack with Sacred Fire before Pikachu uses its move.

Origin

Thunderbolt is a move that Pikachu can learn in the games.
