Pikachu & Zekrom (Japanese: ピカチュウ&ゼクロムGXPikachu & ZekromGX) is a Lightning-type Basic TAG TEAMPokémon-GX card. It was first released as part of the Team Up expansion. It was the first TAG TEAM card revealed to the public.[1]
If this Pokémon has at least 3 extra Energy attached to it (in addition to this attack's cost), this attack does 170 damage to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)(You can't use more than 1 GX attack in a game.)
In Japan, this card was included as a Regular card, a Full Art card, a Special Full Art card, and as a Secret Rainbow Rare in the Tag Bolt expansion. The Regular print features artwork by Mitsuhiro Arita, the Full Art and Rainbow Rare prints feature artwork by 5ban Graphics, while the Special Full Art print features artwork by kawayoo. The Regular, Full Art, and Rainbow Rare prints were subsequently included in the Team Up expansion, while the Special Full Art print became a SM Black Star Promo available in the Tag Team Tins. The Regular print was reprinted, alongside an entirely gold Full Art print, in the Japanese Tag All Stars subset. The entirely gold Full Art print, alongside a Jumbo version of it, was released in English in the Pikachu & Zekrom-GX Premium Collection.
In Pokémon Trading Card Game Live, one of the victory Catchphrases references this card's Full Blitz attack by name. It reads, "Don't feel too bad. Nobody escapes my Full Blitz." Full Blitz is the only attack with this distinction.
