Pasio Subway (Japanese: パシオサブウェイ) was an extreme battle event in Pokémon Masters EX. It was focused on the sync pairs Sygna Suit Ingo & Chandelure and Sygna Suit Emmet & Eelektross.
During this event, players could take on seven challenging battles against a variety of sync pairs, with the final battle being against the Subway Bosses. Each battle awarded the player Gems, co-op sync orbs or a Move Candy Coin, and a stamp to prove their victory. Obtaining all seven stamps unlocked a concluding story area.
In addition, special event missions were available that awarded players with a Certificate of Excellence for completing each battle using a sync pair with a certain theme skill. There were seven missions associated with each battle, for a total of 49 missions.
However, only one battle was available from the start of the event. An additional battle—and its corresponding missions—were unlocked once every four days, with the final battle being unlocked on November 25, 2024. Players could earn a special event title for completing the final battle and another title for completing all the event missions.
Plot
Ingo and Emmet greet the player just outside their minecart battle facility and explain that they've recently made some improvements to it, gathering many strong Trainers that won't be easy to defeat. In addition, the two of them are new and improved and want to show the player their renewed resolve. So, Ingo invites the player to take on the challenge if it interests them.
After defeating Ingo and Emmet in the depths of their minecart battle facility, Ingo congratulates the player on their victory. He and Emmet both express their disbelief that the player was able to defeat them even in their sygna suits, with Emmet adding that the battle was unforgettably exciting. They promise to keep getting stronger until they form a team that the player will not be able to beat, and Emmet invites the player to challenge them again when that time comes.

Ingo | Bravo! Excellent!! I was aware that you were a force to be reckoned with, <player>, but to be perfectly honest... I didn't think you'd make it through! We had such confidence in our renewed challenge! |
Emmet | Yes! In these sygna suits, we were battling truly seriously. I can't believe we lost! I'll always remember that battle—and how it made me feel excited! |
Ingo | However, there is no terminal called End in life! We will continue to move forward and aim for even greater heights! |

Trivia
- This was the only extreme battle event to include story areas.
- The minecart battle facility where this event takes place was originally established by Ingo and Emmet in All Aboard the Victory Train.
- The seven battles in this event, with Ingo and Emmet as the opponents in the final battle, parallels the structure of a Battle Subway challenge.
- Similarly, the fact that each battle has seven associated missions—for a total of 49 missions—parallels how the player needs to get through seven consecutive seven-win streaks to face Ingo and/or Emmet in the Super Single, Super Double, and Super Multi trains, with the Subway Boss(es) appearing in the 49th battle.
- The battle Challenge Trainers on the Tracks: Part 4 is almost identical to the battle Take on Lucas! Part 2 from the extreme battle event Training with Dawn and Lucas!. The only differences are that the center foe is a Camper instead of Lucas, and all three foes have one extra passive skill: Tough Skin 5.
- Excluding the final battle, the type weaknesses of the battles in this event all match the attack types of one or more sync pairs that debuted in sync pair scouts in the duration of the event's run:
- Challenge Trainers on the Tracks: Part 1 matches the attack types of Iono (Fall 2024) & Flutter Mane and Sygna Suit Ingo & Chandelure.
- Challenge Trainers on the Tracks: Part 2 matches the attack types of Sygna Suit Emmet & Eelektross.
- Challenge Trainers on the Tracks: Part 3 matches the attack types of Eri & Annihilape.
- Challenge Trainers on the Tracks: Part 4 matches the attack types of Hilda & Leafeon.
- Challenge Trainers on the Tracks: Part 5 matches the attack types of Shauntal (Fall 2024) & Froslass, Sina & Glaceon, and Hilbert & Glaceon.
- Challenge Trainers on the Tracks: Part 6 matches the attack types of Dexio & Espeon.
- The final story area stayed at the top of the area info list for this event after being completed for the first time, instead of being moved beneath all the battles like in most events.
