Major events
- The Hoenn Frontier Brains defeat the Admins of Neo Team Magma and Neo Team Aqua.
- Sapphire wakes up inside a Secret Base on Route 120, where she meets Aarune.
- Aarune reveals that he rescued Sapphire after her defeat and healed her Troppy at a Pokémon Center.
- Emerald locates Sapphire through Hoopa's ring.
- Maxie and Archie emerge from their training space, having finished their training with Groudon and Kyogre.
- Ruby and Norman use Hoopa's ring to return to the Meteor Village.
- When Rayquaza sees Groudon and Kyogre through Hoopa's ring, it goes wild and throws Norman off of its back.
- Rayquaza attempts to attack Groudon and Kyogre, only for Hoopa to use its rings to send Rayquaza to Sapphire's location.
- Ruby is thrown far away by Rayquaza, but is saved by Wally.
- Wally battles Rayquaza in an attempt to subdue it, but is stopped by Ruby.
- Ruby attempts to reason with Rayquaza, only to notice that Sapphire has appeared in front of him.
