After discovering Nemona unconscious on the top of the watchtower, Arven finds himself the target of an aggressive Quaxly. It launches a Water-type attack at him, but he dodges, causing it to splash onto Nemona's face. Assuming Quaxly to be the one responsible for attacking Nemona, Arven sends out his Scovillain. As the two Pokémon prepare to battle, Nemona wakes up and recalls Quaxly, revealing to a confused Arven that it was her Pokémon all along.

To clarify the situation, Nemona explains that earlier that morning, she had come to the watchtower with Scarlet. Upon reaching the top, she encountered a Gimmighoul and startled it, prompting it to attack her. Scarlet then used this as an opportunity to take its coins by having her Sprigatito knock it out. Afterward, Nemona found herself weak and unsteady, realizing that Scarlet had experienced the same feeling in Cortondo, which she and Katy had mistaken for hunger. While Scarlet is normally quite accustomed to hunger, its combination with Gimmighoul's attack had left her weakened. Before leaving, Scarlet advised Nemona to send out her Pokémon to protect herself for when she inevitably lost consciousness. Complying, Nemona told her to wait for her at Artazon's Gym, but Scarlet simply left.

Nemona worries that Scarlet might still be waiting for her at Artazon, much to Arven's surprise. When she asks what he is doing at the watchtower, Violet's voice suddenly interrupts from Arven's Rotom Phone, bombarding him with questions. Arven hesitates to answer, not wanting Nemona to slow down his mission to heal Mabosstiff. Violet proceeds to ask about the Titan Pokémon, ruining Arven's plans to stay discreet. Feeling indebted to Arven for his attempt to help her, Nemona insists on joining the search for the Stony Cliff Titan. Violet offers a reward for her assistance, and Nemona requests a battle.

Noticing a shadow beginning to loom over Violet, Arven grabs his Rotom Phone and warns him. Violet dodges just in time as the Titan Klawf leaps down at him, and Nemona points out that Klawf must have decided to attack after seeing Violet on his own. Violet commands his Paldean Wooper to use Mud Shot, but Klawf retreats by climbing up a cliff. When Violet contemplates following, Nemona advises against it, instead directing him to flank the Titan from behind. Once in position, Violet sends all his Pokémon to attack.

After being struck by Violet's team, Klawf disappears down the cliff. Nemona then spots it approaching a cave, noticing some Herba Mystica inside. Arven attempts to rendezvous with Violet, and Nemona insists on coming along, eager to battle a Titan Pokémon. Grabbing onto her Rotom Phone, she leaps from the top of the watchtower.

While Klawf consumes the Herba Mystica by the cave entrance, the three position themselves for a pincer attack. Nemona and Arven strike from the sides while Violet attacks from above. The combined efforts of their Pokémon are enough to scare Klawf away, clearing the path to the cave. As the three enter, they are delighted by the scent of Sweet Herba Mystica, and Arven uses it to make sandwiches for everyone. Before Rotojī can test Violet's sandwich for poison, Miraidon snatches it, which Arven anticipated. As Nemona enjoys her sandwich and thinks about how Scarlet would appreciate one, a bright light suddenly shines from Miraidon. Concerned, Violet reaches out for it, only to be whisked off as the Pokémon darts away at incredible speed.

Riding on Miraidon's back, Violet realizes with joy that its speed has greatly improved. Rotojī rings, and Violet answers to find Professor Turo on the line. Turo, pleased with Miraidon's growth, encourages Violet to continue exploring Paldea alongside it.

Meanwhile, at Artazon, Scarlet quietly admires a statue of a Sunflora. When a voice behind her asks for her opinion, Scarlet explains that she senses both despair and freedom behind the statue's expression. The voice exclaims, "avant-garde," and Scarlet glances behind herself to find Brassius.
